Dementia Today California Thank You from Scotland

A big thank you to Jenifer and all at dementia today for the kind words and all you do in raising awareness

Meet Tommy Whitelaw: an Alzheimer’s Hero

Tommy Whitelaw, from Scotland, sent me an email on Twitter about his campaign across his country to raise awareness on Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Here is Tommy’s statement from his website http://tommy-on-tour-2011.blogspot.com/2012/03/tommyontour-film-now-on-website-around.html

FRIDAY, 9 MARCH 2012

I’ve added Tommy’s short film, presented to Deputy First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon at the Scottish Parliament, to the right-hand column of my webpage.  It is called Video of the Week: Tommy on Tour. The film is about Tommy’s campaign to raise awareness for people with dementia and their carers. Please watch the video, visit Tommy’s website, and support Tommy on this courageous fight against this awful disease.
You can also a watch the film here or forward the URL to other people to watch.
Tommy is my hero; he is also your hero too
